ENGLISH   "Susi M. Gottardi continues today the ancient tradition of magic-alchemical painting, with a powerful trait.
Based in Prague, she is a painter, stylist, screenwriter and director of extreme films. She has developed her own original method of creation through a personal formula of transiguration of spiritual forces into idols of energy, and a daring absolute freedom of experimentation that works on millenary angles of vision and on the fundamental importance of the subject.
Her paintings conceal a form of life in themselves, a magnetism of the senses that transforms the thoughts of the viewer into manifested ideas, making us wonder if it's us looking at them or them watching deep inside us from their own dimension, through our eyes, only moments before emerging from the canvas and walk in the room like the restless soul of N. V. Gogol’s tale “The Portrait”.

ITALIANO   "Susi M. Gottardi continua oggi l'antica tradizione della pittura magico-alchemica, con un tratto potente.
Pittrice, stylist, sceneggiatrice e regista di film estremi, con base a Praga, ha sviluppato il proprio originale metodo di creazione attraverso una formula personale di trasfigurazione delle forze spirituali in idoli di energia, ed un'audace assoluta libertà di sperimentazione che opera su angoli di visione millenari e sull'importanza fondamentale del soggetto.
I suoi dipinti nascondono una forma di vita in se stessi, un magnetismo dei sensi che trasforma i pensieri di chi guarda in idee manifeste, mentre ci domandiamo se siamo noi a guardare le immagini o se sono loro  a vedere in profondità dentro di noi dalla loro dimensione, tramite i nostri occhi, qualche istante prima di emergere dalla tela e camminare nella stanza come l'anima inquieta del racconto di N. V. Gogol "Il Ritratto".
